Are your data files compiled from opt in lists?
Of course. All email address information held by Mail-it are also emps (email preference service) compliant.

I need a data count??
No problem, let us know what postcode area or county you want to target together with the job description of the contact. The business type would also be useful if you want that detailed an audience. (Data counts could be lower by choosing all three options).

How long does it take to get a data count?
We aim to provide the data count within 30 minutes of receiving your enquiry; it’s often a lot quicker.

What are your success rates?
The big question. Your campaign will live or die by its content, particularly the subject line and when it’s sent. A general campaign should have achieved the following:
  • 10% open rate
  • 10% click through rate

  • These are the two key measurements, how many people open your email and from there how many people click through to see what it’s all about.

    Can I see my campaign statistics live on the net?
    Before your campaign is set to go, we provide a link for you to click through to live campaign stats. This can be viewed as many times as required.

    Where does the reader click through to?
    We don’t advise clicking through to a website, although we will incorporate the address in the campaign, we build a specific “landing page”. This is a page that will detail the content of your offer or service. The response rate to this method is far higher than clicking through to your website.

    How do I capture the customer’s information if and when they click through?
    In two ways. Firstly when you a customer clicks through on your campaign, you will receive an email letting you know the company name, contact name, postcode, telephone number and of course email address. We supply this information to you for you to actively “chase up” the potential customer, because they have clicked through doesn’t necessarily mean they will enquire about your product or service. But, as they have clicked through there should be an interest. Secondly, if your campaign requires a direct response, we build and incorporate a feedback form for the customer to fill in. This information is then sent directly to you via a specified email address e.g. you@yourcompany.co.uk.

    Can I get a campaign summary of everyone who clicked through?
    Yes, it’s all part of the package.

    When I get a response from a customer, can I email them directly or do I have to pay Mail-it again?
    The customer details now belong to you on a non exclusive basis. To clarify, you can now contact the customer directly as many times as you want without having to use Mail-it. You must however put an opt out facility on all correspondence to the customer.

    How do I proceed?
    Click on the Order tab at the top of the screen or click here and complete the form. On receipt we will contact you on the specified telephone number.

    How long before my campaign is up and running?
    We aim for 5 working days as a maximum. There are various factors to consider which your account manager will through with you once you have decided to Mail-it.
